# Can I use custom proxies to connect a LinkedIn Account

> Yes you can. ​ To do it, click on Optional Settings when you connect your LinkedIn Account.

After that, you need to click on Use your own proxy and add the details of your proxy provider.

Adding a custom proxy is not mandatory and is only helpful if you use MANY LinkedIn related tools at once.
